CalTopo

The hybrid satellite/topo map on CalTopo.com includes all the reporting points, non-reporting points, and landmarks referenced in the GCNP SFRA Manual, and it shows the most commonly used holding points in the GCN Tower LOA. It also includes landmarks used by Westwind instructors to help teach the routes. You can switch between several topo and satellite views.

  • Red – Mandatory reporting point
  • Green – Position report not required
  • Blue – Landmarks referenced in SFRA Manual or Letter of Agreement
  • Purple – Holding Points
  • Yellow – Westwind instructional landmarks

Black Routes Crib Sheet

This document was developed by Bill Rogers, our former SFAR 50-2 check airman, to provide a single-page reference to the routes that Westwind is authorized to fly. Pilots are strongly encouraged to have it with them in the cockpit during the training and checkride, and until they are comfortable flying the routes.
